There are so many ways to add flair to your outfits and the easiest way to do this is, accessorising! I absolutely love a good bangle stack or quirky brooch, a vintage style shoe or a fabulous retro pair of sunnies, and these are just some of the ways to complete the look of your vintage inspired outfit. Accessories and shoes can really make the look you’re going for and a few key pieces can bring everything together.
I’ve put together a few examples of how you can have fun with accessories and incorporate them into your daily wardrobe.
This heart-filled look is all about LOVE! Don’t just wear your heart on your sleeve – embrace it head to toe! This red Dolores dress is the perfect base for this look with its sweetheart neckline. I’ve mixed it with black for a hint of rockabilly, adding the gloriously heart shaped Adore belt to cinch in the waist and the Charlene cardigan works really well, keeping the overall theme when combined with the matching Rockabilly bag. For jewellery, the Red Hearts earrings and heart brooch look adorable with this outfit and further pick out the black detailing. The Heart web scarf is a really sweet touch for that retro look and the Lottie Heart Sandals finish off this casual but cute outfit.
Flamingos are an all time favourite, and this gorgeous 50s style swing skirt features a flock of fabulous pink embroidered flamingos emblazoned along the hem. Wear it with the Lorena top to soften the look and the Reyna sunglasses to bring out that punchy pink! The totally tropical Flamingo earring and necklace set is really cool with pink flamingos on green monstera leaves. Continue to pick out the green and add the Top Vintage Evie Cardigan with sweet floral details and Veronica heels. The right accessories can add a cheeky element to an otherwise plain outfit. The perfect example of this is when you pair black and red with leopard print accessories. It’s such an iconic pin up style and keeping things plain with pops of leopard really brings out the sass! The Mona shirt is a great staple and pairs well for work or play with just enough of an office look to be smart, but with a classic pin up neckline to add some personality. Wear with the Betty capris to incorporate the leopard print and swap out the black belt it comes with for the fabulous Leah to cinch that waist in against the black of the top. The Brooke jacket and Jemima heels coordinate well with this look and the red really makes the whole thing sing! The Carrie bag holds all your essentials and fastens really simply with one push. Finish this outfit with a few more leopard accessories like the Alex sunglasses, Zana scarf and Sassy bangle and adding a couple of Dotty Thin bangles either side helps further pull the red and leopard together. In case of rain, (as we all know the weather can be unpredictable!), step out with the Everly umbrella to keep you feeling dry but always super stylish.

I’ve gone for the more subtle pineapple print on the Mattie Skirt with a soft yellow Sofia top and green cinch belt to nip in that waist. The yellow and green form the base of your palette and to that you can add the Outlaw jacketif you need a cover up when you’re out and about, and the Lily Wedges which are really comfortable to wear all day. Now for the fun accessories! The pineapple hoop earrings and Juicy pineapple brooch are darling little additions to capture that retro novelty spirit, along with the fabulously fruity Tina bag. Adorn yourself with the Serina sunglasses and you’re all set for some fiercely fruity fun!
For a casual rainbow inspired look, these Bright & Beautiful Dungarees featuring an embroidered rainbow across the front are super sweet and comfortable to wear. Pop the Top Vintage Dolores top underneath it to continue that rainbow theme and accessorise to the max with the Solene earrings which are delicate but fun, the Ally Rainbow bangle which is really pretty and the Pippa Sunglasses with adorable rainbow detailing across the top. Add a pop of cherries to your outfit for a classic vintage rockabilly feel. The Emilia top with it’s fabulous gingham cherry print features a cute frill to the sweetheart neckline and has fully adjustable straps for a great fit as well as an elasticated back. For an easy daytime look, wear it with the Becca jeans which have the sweetest cherry detailing on the sides and the Jo cardigan which not only has the cherry on the front but also on the sleeve which is just adorable! To lift this outfit from casual daytime to a statement outfit ready to strut the catwalks of the local shopping mall, add the Cherry Hoops which are a great novelty pair and can liven up so many plain outfits, as well as the Olga bag and Silvia flats.
