    Flattering fit, with some adjustments

    I purchased this in a size 8 and I’m 5’6”. While the sleeve length is good, I did have to adjust the belt loops to sit at my natural waist. They were 2-3 inches too high so I pulled out the stitches and sewed them lower. I love the fit of this coat, and what really appealed to me was the 100% cotton fabric. I was disappointed that it came with a polyester lining which is not mentioned in the description. I decided to remove the lining entirely (with scissors) and the end result is more breathable. Not having a lining also made it easier to restitch the belt loops. It’s a beautiful coat and I know I’ll get lots of wear out of it.

    Beautiful coat

    Gorgeous coat, great for spring and fall! Shows off your figure really well. Just really dislike the way the belt closes, it’s such a hassle to close and open. And I miss a pocket on the inside. Other than that, amazing coat.
